Due to COVID-19 situations, the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) had to reschedule the examination period. 

Previously the Kenya Certificate Of Secondary School (KCSE) was previously held on November every year, now everything has taken a different twist of fate and the Exams will be held on April of the following month which means that in a certain year it's KCSE exams will be held on the following year. 

For exams, the KCSE examination which was to be held this very year 2021 November will be held next year 2022 on April. 

The trend will carry on for some years then resume to normal after a certain period of time. 

All first session KCSE examination papers will start at exact 8.00 a.m while the start time for second session examination papers is as indicated on the timetable, this time is not specific since different papers contain different duration of time. 

Most exciting thing throught out the learning period is the moment to seat for a national Examination now that COVID is a threat. 

Teachers have since the onset of the corona virus pandemic worked round the clock in ensure prior and adequate preparations for the candidates before their final exams. 

To be precis, the major challenge that the 2021 KCSE candidates are facing is the little teacher-student contact hours, which has lead to luck of confidence of the candidates about their performance in the Exams.

Owing to the pressure experienced by both learners and tutors , several schools have gone down as students riot in different parts of the country. 

Many schools have been burned down/set on fire of late. This might be one of the reason among others. 

A focused candidate is one that is willing to acquire the KCSE Examination Timetable on time so as to prepare mentally and phsycologicaly so when the time comes he/she is confident enough to face it.
